Artist's CommentsClient: Depthskins Design Studio Description: You'll see that this design is WAY outside what I usually do and that's because I wanted to something really deep, literally. The idea as you can easily see revolves around the concept of the logo and the name which is 'depth'. I wanted to communicate that as designers our task isn't as plain as daylight. Once needs to explore all depths, in our case, we emphasized. A designer explores from the 'depth of space' to the 'depths of the ocean' to the 'depths of the earth'. A process we call brainstorming. So at first you see an artistic approach to the design because my belief is that design is art. In the end, you see a quite simple, to the point layout of content which brings us to my other belief that design is functional. I didn't overcrowd the content area with too many graphics and kept the animation smooth and simple. Apart from all that, you can go and 'explore' the different scene which ties in with our tagline: 'your world. our canvas.' Are you seeing how this is working. Canvas = Art which I mentioned earlier. Your World = Explore an option we give to viewers. So if one was to stop and think about all this, you'd see how everything is all tied in. Now at this point you're reading and might not fully understand the design which is the main reason I didn't submit this before execution.
