Description: This site is a testimony of what can be done on a really low budget. It was extremely tight and there wasn't much wiggle room for changes or even being picky on design. The first concept had to nail it on the head. Fortunately the client loves my style and weren't picky.
The logo design took quite a while, it WAS NOT done by me. I have logo designers on my team. I just give creative direction on that aspect.
The idea is being really minimal but the client wanted fun, fresh and environment to be portrayed.
The concept of the logo was to have 'e' for environmentally powered, 'e' for ecoelectrons powered. It insisted that these 2 are the core of your energy needs and that it not only provides power but using it helps save the planet.
There's no CMS for this like expression engine or wordpress. It's completely on html. However, we wanted to push a bit for some CMS. For instance, the news page is being updated by a wordpress blog. We used RSS to pull the feeds from the blog to the site. However, it couldn't be perfected because we ran out of time.
We plan on using this idea to power small sites that can't afford CMS.
