Artist's CommentsClient: School Project (XM RADIO) Ad Campaign Creative Brief Now in these ads, we make and follow our own creative brief. So I decided to go the path of illustration and do something fun. I wanted to portray energy, funk, fun and hip. I'm sort of appealing to the young audience but I'm sure older folks would get it. Creative Solution What's to get? My tagline is: looks like old, sounds like XM. While the other one is embracing old devices, this one is sort of saying you should toss out the old music players and get XM. That's what I'm shooting for the very least. Comments
oh its nice but to be honest, i would not had understood the concept without your description...
unfortunately i cant give an opinon on how you should re-focus the idea =/ aestatically its appealing although the guitar-stock was really odd..at first i didnt see what it was XD.. -- deviantTrini --- Elusive Works agree. i think i agree. that's why i submitted it for feedback and I appreciate the honesty. Thanks.
-- Creative Director | Depthskins Design Studio I'm just going to comment on this one cause there's no use to comment on each ad and take up space. Great work...All of the ads are great. The color schemes on all of them are great and they all flow very nicely. I like how all of them flow together, but you didn't reuse the same design over and over to make all the ads. On this ad, the only thing I don't really like is the color of the person and the wirlwind. It seems too faded and washed out compared to the other colors in the ad. It doesn't 'pop' enough for me...lol...Great work none the less!
On another note, 've always wondered this...How do you get those lines in the background. I know you can use the pen tool to make each line separately, but that seems too time consuming and not worth it. It there another method of achieving those lines? -- ThinkCreativity Are you apart of the community yet? [link] Where can you catch me at? For the lines, u draw 2 with pen tool then go to blending options (play with settings) then go to 'make' right in the area where 'blending option' was. That's it in a nut shell. -- Creative Director | Depthskins Design Studio |
