ds-Business Card by depthskins ds-Business Card by depthskins
So I've done 2 business cards for myself/depthskins.

Which would you rather? Note by saying light blue or dark blue.

I just also realise that the light blue one needs to have my name in a more contrasting colours. Kudos for putting your work in perspective. All comments welcome cuz once this is printed, there's no turning back. Thanks alot guys. I appreciate it.

Very nice cards. But of course the cards on the table would be a bit smaller if it was to scale wouldin't it..? It gels in real nice with your logo.

Very optimistic colours and I like the way that you have chosen to demonstrate the cards. It is not a real picture is it ?

mm..the light one is much clearer than the dark..i mean the info is obvious & clear..i think because of the light bg !!...but i like the dark one more ..i think the design is more inique & simple !!:)

Damn, not sure how i missed this one. =\

However, i would go with the dark blue as well, the font size in the 2nd one makes it look a bit crowded for me. Also i think you could do away with "Name, Title, Web.."etc, and just have the info by themselves. :)

Sorry, not sure if you printed them already, heh.

Yep, already printed the dark blue. However, I have to make some edits according to how it looks printed. I'll also remove those things as you suggest. Thanks. It looks wicked printed tho.

PPlus I'm not sure how you missed this one either :P

Make your name on the light blue one the same as the green in "skins" and that one is nice.

Both excellent but I'd personally choose the dark blue, just personal taste I think, seems like a slighly more technical/design/contemp. shade of style.

cool cards!
my vote is for the dark one just a lil suggestion
the top color bar try to give it more of a deep color , and also use and balance same dark color somewhere else...hmm ... maybe the color of the name and title , the present color of the text doesnt match the color scheme at all... hope i make sense.. :) , highly creative though.. :)

Those look really professional, very nice cards. I like the darker blue one better because I've noticed if they get printed right, darker cards look just as good as lighter ones and they stand out more.
Whats "advertinging" though? =p

dark, definitely. Also: take off the "name" and "title" titles off. Then place your name and your title closer to each other (defining one group in the card), and flush them right. All in all, nice and sleek.
and a favor - I just designed a card myself (for a client though) and I would appreciate an opinion!

I love the card, and yeah "Name" / "title" remove it plz (but you are already :) ) Other than that I like the "dark version" one thing, just make sure the edge margin is consistant and not less than 3mm.

With the light blue version, the logo needs to shift inwards to make it match (at its current position it runs the risk of being chopped off in prodution)

Nice presentation of your design too! :+fav:

Yeah, definitely. Those are obvious details that can get lost to somebody who has been seeing the project continuously for hours.
I personally think this is a great business card, serving its purpose perfectly. Clean cut and straight to the point. It's a design you can expand on as time passes by, keeping elements yet experimenting at the same time, as your style/influences/output changes.

Dark blue. :) A few comments though, I don't think it's necessary to put "Name: " or "Title: ". Those are pretty self explanitory. I think that might work better if you had it arranged in a fashion where your name was on top is large type with the title directly under it.

Nice looking cards though, your logo looks fantastic on there. :)

I really like that suggestion. However, when I put it like you said it just seems crowded. Then when I tried it my way, it all can't fit in one line.

It's sucks. I'll just put my name alone.
