When I was back home spending time with my girl, we did the craziest and probably most romantic thing two people could do together. We got engaged.

Took some time to make this public because we had to allow this to settle with family but everything is good on both ends.

Now, given what engagement means, it's a formal committment and doesn't necessarly mean 'marriage' anytime soon. It just means it's certain somewhere down the road. It also represents a beacon of hope in times of doubts caused by time and distance. The ring isn't of importance but what it stands for, i.e, our love. Well in cases with friends and family, you have NO idea how important the ring actually is. lol.

Some of you have been in relationships longer than I have and probably thinks we're crazy but let me ask you this, if ya love the girl what ya waiting for, life is short man and I wanna live it.
(people under 21, don't go proposing because of what I just said, it takes serious commitment and responsibility)

In order to commemorate the occassion, I decided the first peice of illustration I should do when I get back is one such as this. Basically the illustration has both our personality in it. Bright colours, flowers (my girl loves), butterflies (facinates me) and of course, Khadi . The type I have in there is some of the sweetest things someone ever told me (Khadi).

And I included one sweet line I told/ask her:" will you marry me?" Yea, there's some thought process in it, lol.
